Ran Out Of Tickets

For the second time me, Diki, and Hagi failed to see the AFF cup semifinal in Gelora Bung Karno main stadium. We should watch the match live in Gelora Bung Karno, but we failed to get a ticket. We have tried to be able to watch the game, but we weren't successful. We tried to buy tickets online is not successful, even manually also failed. Indeed we did not come to queue to buy tickets manually, for we have to follow the course until the afternoon, while ticket sales closed the evening and the distance of its sales far enough from our campus. We did not want to play truant and ran out of tickets, so we entrust to Hagi's friend  to buy the tickets. Unfortunatelly, Hagi's friend failed to get a ticket, for he had run out. We were very disappointed when we heard the news. But, it does not matter, the most important is  Indonesia can win the game. Perhaps, in the final later on 29 December at Gelora Bung Karno main stadium, we could witness firsthand the match between Indonesia vs Malaysia.

Fever of Soccer.

Currently, Indonesian society are fever soccer. They are infatuated with Indonesian National Team. Especially for the women. Do not know why they prefer this one, whereas this sport is a rough sport. Indeed today, Indonesian National Team on the rise in AFF Cup, because they played well. Maybe this is one of the factors that make Indonesian society got fever of soccer. But, there are other factors that might make Indonesian society  like soccer so much, especially for the women. Cause players of Indonesian National Team have handsome faces. Usually, the players who the most preffered by women are Irfan Bachdim and Christian Gonzales. They are new players in Indonesian National Team, but they have been a lot of fans. Hopefully, all the support given to Indonesian National Team that really love Indonesian soccer from the first, or the new Indonesian soccer fans, because the players have a handsome face, has a positive impact for the advancement of Indonesian football.

Angkringan

Who does not know Angkringan? You definitely know the word, especially for them who living in the Yogyakarta would be familiar with the word. From Wikipedia, Angkringan is a wheelbarrow that sells a variety of foods and beverages commonly contained in each side of the street, operate from afternoon till midnight. Foods that are sold include nasi kucing, fried, intestine satay (chicken), sate quail egg, chips and others. Drinks are also sold various kinds such as tea, citrus, coffee, wedang jahe and milk. All sold at a very affordable price. Although the price is cheap, but consumers are highly varied stalls. Starting from the pedicab driver, a builder, office workers, students, artists, even to the officials and executives. Between buyers and sellers are often seen chatting in a relaxed atmosphere with full kinship.Angkringan also famous as a place that egalitarian because variation buyers who come without distinction of social strata or racial intolerance. They enjoy free food while chatting until late night, although not known each other about things or sometimes discussing serious topics. The price is cheap and relaxing place that makes angkringan very popular in the middle of the city as a stopover to repel hungry or just unwind. Now this famous not only in Yogya region, but also we can find it in the area of West Java, Jakarta and surrounding areas. So, for those of you who want to try and visit this place, don't need go to its original place in Yogyakarta, because you can find them near your home area.

About My Hobbies

I have enjoyable hobbies. Singing and playing guitar are my hobbies. I like these hobby since first grade junior high school. I do my hobbies whenever I want, but usually I do these when I have leisure time. Besides those can be my hobbies, singing and playing guitar can help to reduce my load when I am stressing about a problem or whatever it is. Although this way can not help to solve a problem, but at least can reduce the burden that I have. So, I'm not too stressed in resolving any issues. Well, indeed my ability in singing and playing guitar is not enough great, but I enjoy it. Therefore, I really like my hobbies.

Let's Planting

Recently, I'm like planting. I planted trees which contain function, such as for medicine or for food. I have been doing it almost two weeks. Usually, I do that on weekend when I have free time. I'm happy when that trees grow up. But it all need long time, because not at all plants can grow up fastly. So, I have to take care of that plants patiently.

Community Service

Last Sunday, I followed community service, cleaned around my environment, exactly around Rt 02/07 area. Me and villagers to do this activity once for every two weeks. We started community service  around 07.30 a.m. The villagers have been already with equipment what their brought like hoe and sickle, while I carry a sickle because last week I took a hoe. We divide  work in accordance with the tool that brought each. For carrying sickle duty to clean up the grass on the loose, while for carrying hoe duty to dredge mud and debris contained water canals. The villagers were very enthusiastic to clean around their environment until me who was lazy became enthusiastic too. Our community service for about 2 hours, because the region of Rt02 is wide enough, so for a long time,  we do community service. Pretty tiring indeed to do community service, but it will not taste if we do it with pleasure, feeling tired and it paid off when we see our surroundings to be beautiful, clean, and comfortable. So, let us together keep the environment around us for a better life.

Zebra Operation

Zebra operation, when we heard that word many people asked, what zebra operation is? Maybe there who think zebra operation is an operation about the animal who called zebra. Zebra operation is an operation what Police of Republic Indonesia perform to crub the rider of motorcycle, private car or public transportation which doesn't obey the rules in the way of driving on the road.

To create security, safety, and orderliness in the way of driving . Police usually perform this activity for a month. I think, this is effective way to decrease the risk in driving and also to reduce street congestion. Based on the news what I got, already thousands offenders who got traffic ticket by police. This method is very effective to make driver more discipline but unfortunately this activity just perform for a month. Perhaps as long as there is only this activity drivers will obey the rules, after that they will drive as he pleased.

Nightmare In Learning English, Why Affraid?

When we talk about the English language many people who think that English was a nightmare, as most people think, that English was difficult to understand. Why can? Because in English there is the material that makes people lazy and fear to learn, like in pronunciation, speaking, grammar, and writing.
In pronunciation many people who struggle to read the symbols contained within a word, that most of them are afraid to say it. Because fear is what makes them reluctant to speak.
Also I think what makes the English language was a nightmare is about writing. Why is that? Because to write a sentence we must have the two items at the same time like, vocabulary and grammar. Since both materials are highly associated with writing, so imagine how difficult it is.
But all that can be solved in a way, to never lazy in learning, practicing writing, learning, and learning. As my lecturer said, the important thing is no intention to learn and practice. Mistake was reasonable, because we are still in process and we learn from our mistakes so we don't repeat them. Don't be afraid to try.

Leisure Time

As usual, if I have leisure time, definitely I have something  to do. Start from clean my bedroom until help my parents. I am always to set aside time to do that when I have leisure time. Because, I am always busy with my activities on campus, so I haven't have more time to do that. Not only that, usually  when I have leisure time, I spent it for play game, play guitar, watch television, do my assignment, and listening music. But the most important to me is used my leisure time to take a rest, because definitely I preoccupied with other activities for next day.

Friendship Forever

I have been studying in UHAMKA almost three semester. It means less or more one half years I have been in 3.i class. Happiness and sorrow I have felt together with them, but it is as if I haven't sorrow when gather with them. Because I am always playful and jest in any situation with them, in the class neither out the class. It was when I joined in the class first, it is as if they less convinced to be friend, but in long run I can be socialization with them.
My classmates have different characteristic, there are a good, playful, serious, dreamy, spoiled, and many more. I'm happy can know them, because they make my life become more beautiful and colorful. I want this friendship doesn't ended just here but until the end at the time. I wish, we can be friend forever. Hopefully, we can be more cohesive in order to be a model class for the other our friends.

Safety On The Road

Dear readers,

Today, I feel driving on the road with a busy road conditions as we are in two choice, life or die. Why I can say that? Because based on the experience what I felt, the drivers seem less attention to safety. Most of them, just think about how to get destination fast. In addition, most of them are also often violate the rules, such as violating the traffic lights, parking on the street that shouldn’t be used for parking areas, reckless, turning without signaling and many more.
Bikers and drivers, both of them often do that, but most of those who often do that are bikers. For car drivers usually are often doing too is public transportation. I hate public transport, especially for K.02. Because at that time I ever became a victim of indiscipline public transport driver. When I was riding my motorcycle in a crowded road conditions, all of a sudden there are K.02 that turn around. Because I didn’t see that car, so I struck and was hit by that car. I fell and was flung off my motorcycle. Alhamdulillah, I was safe from that accident, just injured in my foot section. Meanwhile, the driver was going to leave me.
Therefore, in a drive we are required wary and careful, because if we’ve less careless, could be fatal. As a good driver, We should discipline against with the rules and we also have to have ethics in driving. Don’t be too shows our selfishness in the drive, so as not to endanger ourselves and others. I believe that all drivers have the education and knowledge about the ethics of driving. So we must be mutual respect on the road, because it's all for our safety and comfort in driving.

Chaotic of Traffic

As usual, every morning and evening traffic jams always occur, especially during the time of work. Usually always occur in the morning and afternoon starting at 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. in the morning and around 5:00 p.m. to 07:00 p.m. o'clock in the afternoon. Why always happens at these hours? Because at that hour, the people together go to work each and come home from work to their homes.
If we are stuck in traffic, we would throw away a long time because road conditions are very crowded and chaotic, this is due to many riders who can not wait for long commutes, so the track should not be used instead used. So that road users from the other direction can not walk, it is this which causes the congestion is getting worse.
Why does this matter always happen in any area, particularly Jabodetabek area? Because the region's most densely populated. I do not know what I should do when I'm stuck in traffic apart have to wait patiently. Due to the narrow roads and dense, it is Impossible to precede the riders who are in front. Should the government really cares and provide appropriate solutions to overcome these bottlenecks. Because the development of roads each year is only up 5% a year while the development of far more vehicles that is about 15% a year.

My name is Widi Sriyanto. My friends usually call me Widi. I was born in Jakarta on April 18th, 1991. I lived in Pademangan Barat, North Jakarta when I was child. I had been living there for five years, but now I live in North Bekasi exactly, at Wisma Asri on Jln.K.H. Noer Ali Rt 02/07 Kp.Irian. I have been living in Bekasi for fourteen years. I'm Studying at Hamka University. I graduated from 1 Babelan senior high school. In Hamka University, I take English Department as my choice, because I'm interesting in English Language. I want to increase my knowledge about English Language and everything about English.

The weather changes

Recently, I am very surprised with the weather in Indonesia, especially the Jabodetabek area. Weather in Jabodetabek area is never uncertain, sunny in the morning but in the afternoon going to rain, from low to heavy intensity. Meanwhile, according to BMG, today is not the rainy season. The weather changes these days is very extreme, its very difficult to be predicted. When the weather is nice it will feel very hot even when we are outside the room, like the sun be above our heads, and on the contrary when rain falls, the rain will come down very heavy accompanied with strong winds and lightning struck. So no wonder when it rains and strong winds to come will be floods and many trees are falling and also landslides. It's hard to be trusted a phenomenon like this, but this is reality, this is due to the natural balance that hasn’t stable again. Therefore we all must have a high awareness and concern for environment in around us, in order to avoid worse things again in the future.
